Sidney Maurice Tempesta, was born in American, the State of São Paulo, on September 5, 1973.
He met the roost in 1985 a road wheel in Americana. He liked and began training with Mestre Carlos, Association Children of Earth. The beginning was difficult because the gym was away from home and would train on foot or by bike and not always his father gave him the money from tuition, which forced him to do some extra work to be able to pay. Capoeira was love at first sight, and that love was reinforced in late 1985, when he was baptized and received his first degree.
In 1988 he met the Mestre Cobra who trained and lived in Rio de Janeiro with Mestre Camisa. At that time Master Carlão was no longer in American and Stilt went to Rio de Janeiro to know the Master Work Shirt and identified himself with the training structure and work organization Abada-Capoeira. He thought about moving to Rio de Janeiro, but was too young yet, was only 16. He continued his training and then went to a meeting in Barretos, where he met Yves instructor who was Mestre Camisa and lived and ministered classes in Campinas. Talking, he asked to come to teach in Americana and also accompanied him on trips to Rio de Janeiro, when integrated more in the work of Abada-Capoeira. However, in 1993 Yves became very ill and it was very difficult for Stilt see him in that situation because Yves was a capoeirista who loved to train and work. He died the same year. Pernilongo continued to travel to Rio de Janeiro and also to other states, training with Mestre Camisa and developing his work in Americana. At this point Stilt had capoeira as a profession.
